The Language of Love
Original WritingA Little Like This
Original WritingIt was like digging your nails into the earth over and over again, and coming up empty every time. Reaching into the core of your soul, and finding nothing to grasp hold of. I could scream his name a thousand times into the twilight, and twenty miles away, all he’d hear is the wailing creatures of the night. His darkness blinded my senses whilst his couldn’t be clearer. The light I gave him couldn’t have shone any brighter. How can one walk away from a person who left footprints, not fucking fingerprints, on your heart? He set me on fire and left me to choke on the smoke, retching on the ashes of our past.
And just like that, he was gone.
– Dennis Lehane
LiteratureHe’d just met the woman he’d known, somehow, since before he was born.

Soulmates
Original WritingAnd when we met for the first time, I knew. I knew you, I knew of you, my bones felt a sense of familiarity as they embraced yours. Our souls were intertwined before we entered this world.
The Fourth Of May
Original WritingOur bones may be brittle, but we’ll still waltz under the golden sun of the summer just like we did on the fourth of May.
The Sun, The Moon and The Stars
Original PoetryShe held on that little bit longer
to find that fate had combined
the sun, the moon and the stars
to create an angel.
His T-Shirt
Original PoetryBewildering thoughts under a milky twilight
dressed in nothing but his t-shirt
with her back pressed up against the wall.
Murmurs of unintelligible syllables
slipped through her lips
as she suffocated in thoughts
of you.
– Robert Holden
Quotes“Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you have.”
– Nikita Gill
Poetry“How do you love someone who is broken?
Gently, lay your hands on their soul like a whisper, find those places that are broken. And then love them till the places become cracks and the cracks become thin white scars that they only just barely remember.”
