Hi, and congratulations on making it to my website! I thought I’d use this page to introduce myself and put a face to the prose/poetry.

I’m Anisah, a 24-year-old writer of everything and anything, from poetry to current affairs, to book reviews and travel peices. I am a MIND ambassador first and foremost, campaigning for the eradication of stigmatization of mental health conditions in the workplace, at home and in the community.

My academic conquest currently includes a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Reading. I’m due to start an MSc in Social and Public Communications at the London School of Economics this September, too.

The aim of my poetry is for people to feel heartbroken without ever having fallen in love. The aim of my other pieces is ultimately to inspire, and so it is my hope that you leave this site at least somewhat fulfilled, emotionally.
