Too Bright to Hear, Too Loud to See

“Not everyone can feel things as deeply as you. Most people, their feelings are… bland, tasteless. They’ll never understand what it’s like  to read a poem and feel almost like they’re flying, or to see a bleeding fish and feel grief that shatters their heart…”

– Juliann Garey

Original Poetry

If you ever feel like the darkness is smothering the light
And the light is just not bright enough anymore,
Remember this:
There’s still so much shit to tear up in this world.
Some of which can only be done
By your hand
And your hand alone.
The world awaits you,
Live for it, if for nothing else.
Live for the promise of MORE

Live Like You’ll Never Die

We spend out teenage years
Wishing to meet the ‘one’
But we forget the art of really
Living our lives.
One day,
We will get married
And spend forever waking up
To the person of our dreams.
But until then,
Follow the dreams and ambitions
You had since you were six.
We have our whole lives ahead of us,
So why not live like
We’re immortal.
Live like we have forever.
