They Were Enough

Original Poetry

She was fragile
And he was reckless,
And it was differences such as this
Which made them one.
He wasn’t like her,
And didn’t share any of her interests.
She preferred to write about her feelings
And he preferred to lose himself,
Immerse himself
In other things.
Just because they were incredibly different
Didn’t mean they weren’t any less of amazing.
They knew what love was,
And for them,
That was enough.
