The Wrong Brush

Original Poetry

He painted
Me with
The wrong brushes
And he got the shade
Of my eyes wrong.
He didn’t have that
Flick of a wrist
When addressing the smaller
Details of my body.
I guess each and every person
Is hard to replicate on a canvas
But when he tried,
I knew it was wrong.
It felt wrong.
We were wrong.
